My name is Aja Solberg and I myself have a child with special needs and had to navigate this journey by myself. Faced with all this first hand knowledge from working in the ABA field, being a CNA, and having a special needs child of my own, I decided to open a consulting business. Faced with many other parents with similar questions that I had, without any directions of where to go for answers. I found myself and others didn't know about programs offered or products that can be used at home to help there child. This need amongst parents is what inspired the idea of Outside Of Normal. After long talks with other therapists and adults within the healthcare field I kept being recommended to help others struggling to navigate this strange new life we all seem to be adapting too. This inspired me to provide non-medical advice, with the goal to help parents navigate all that this journey of having a child outside of normal throws at us.
